June 14, 2018 PARIS LA NUIT Once in Paris, I had an early morning flight and couldn’t sleep. So I took my trusty Nikon and tripod for a long walk beside the Seine and ended up with these…. Had to lay on my back to shoot this angle! A carousel whirls behind a Christmas tree with fake snow. The Louvre pyramid all lit up. Pont Alexandre – arguably the best bridge over the Seine. All quiet on the Notre Dame esplanade. Napoleon’s tomb is inside Les Invalides. A ferris wheel turns behind the Egyptian obelisk in Place de la Concorde. Arc de Triomphe. The Ecole Militaire across Champs-de-Mars. Traffic flows nonstop past midnight beside the Seine. Champs Elysees all lit up for Christmas. Place de Republique serves as a memorial after the infamous terrorist attack. ⟵ Previous PostNext Post ⟶ Comments Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
